Neuroendocrine tumors

Neuroendocrine tumors are a broad family of tumors that are thought to arise from cells throughout the diffuse endocrine system, the most common of which are carcinoid and pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors. Other sites of neuroendocrine tumors include the parathyroid, adrenal, pituitary and thyroid glands.
