MGMT

MGMT, or O-6-methylguanine-DNA methyltransferase, is a DNA repair enzyme. Loss of MGMT expression leads to compromised DNA repair in cells and may play a significant role in cancer development. Low MGMT expression has been correlated with response to temozolomide.
